Digital volunteer application form with fields for e-signature and uploading documents
When we onboard volunteers, we have them fill out paperwork to describe niche things such as an past education, language skills, motivation for volunteering, and more. We also collect documents such as a background check copy, driverse lisences, and covid vaccine card. Volunteers lastly sign a few forms such as a child protection policy.
I would love a feature for a volunteer to fill out a form that would populate their personal information to their account. It could also request an esignature or checkbox to agree to policies and would allow for the volunteer or the manager to attach documents…

Update volunteer permission to remove the ability to back out of an RSVP
I think it would be a nice idea if we could remove the ability for individual's to back out of an RSVP. Instead of it canceling them from an event, they could have the option to request a cancellation by the organizer.

Force password change on first login
If accounts are set up by the admin for volunteer users, when those users first login, force them to change their password from the default set by the organizer.
This will improve security, as the likely behavior by volunteers is to never change their password from what was originally set by the admin.

Allow for visible profile fields that the volunteer can not edit.
Some of our events require a background check. We have a hidden profile field that we use to make sure that only volunteers with the right credentials can sign up- but our volunteers can not see that field on their profile. It would be helpful if we could "tag" them or otherwise show them the information in the field without allowing them to change or update it.

Allow for users to submit hours and associate hours with ongoing events multiple times without signing up for more than one shift/time.
To encourage people to take leadership positions or to commit to an ongoing task, we should remove the barrier of having to sign up every time you want to submit an hour. Currently, users can sign up for an ongoing event but then just submit their hours once if they want to associate their hours to that event. We need the association for data purposes and so that users get in the habit of associating for discreet calendar events as well... its better to just have one process.

Set Notifications
I used to be a classroom teacher and when I would need a substitute teacher, I would create an absence in our absence reporting system, similar to the way I now create an "Event" in Track it Forward. However, as soon as I created an absence, all substitute teachers who created accounts and were a part of our system would receive an email or text alert letting them know that a subbing opportunity has been created. I would love to have a feature like this for Track it Forward and our volunteers. Rather than have to rely on volunteers going…

Enter event with specific dates
I'd like to be able to post an event to multiple days, even if that event doesn't follow a specific pattern. If I need it on a Tuesday, then two weeks later it's Friday, then another month later it's a Wednesday, then the week after that it's Tuesday again. If I could create an event (or use a template) and post the event to the multiple specific dates I pick out, that'd be great!

Back button for embedded Iframe calendars
Can we get a back button that is automatically included in the iframe of an embedded calendar? Currently if I embed my event calendar, people cannot go back to the calendar after clicking on an event to look at or register.

Gamification / Leader board
When you log in on mobile or web, would be cool to see how you compare to your peers or even by category. Some competition / gamification will bring people back more often

In the volunteer report add a field that would provide a date of "Last RSVP"
This feature would include in the volunteer report a record of the volunteers most recent RSVP to an event. This is important to me as a volunteer coordinator as we need to track who is active or not. We mark volunteers as inactive after 6 months of no activity.

Display volunteer names on Events page
Displaying the volunteer names on the Events page would be a great usability improvement. Right now the only way I found to get an overview for, say, a whole month of volunteers is to use the Reports section of the Organizer Dashboard.

You should be able to clink on a link in an event description in the mobile app.
You can't click on a link in the event description in the mobile app, I put a link in the event description so that volunteers could get additional information, but you can't click on it or copy it from the text. It's too long for people to type in.

I am looking for a feature to submit feedback surveys to volunteers so that we can grow an improved experience to our volunteers.
Periodically it is important to survey our volunteers to find out how we can improve our communications or perhaps improve the volunteer experience on campus.

Reports for Rejected Hour Submissions
We would like to see reporting capabilities for rejected hour submissions - both corrected/resubmitted/approved and those still in rejected state - that include the emailed reason for rejection that the reviewer provided.

Be able to sort approval list by date and then name
On the approval dashboard, it would be nice to be able to sort the list by volunteer date and then name. It's too easy for volunteers to double enter hours. Having a way to see when they've entered the same hours, on the same day, for the same project helps us take a closer look. (Other idea, if there was a way to warn volunteers that they already have an entry on that day, for the same hours, under the same area/project, we would like that.)

Allow user to select multiple dates to input recurring hours in a single submission.
We input our volunteer hours once a month and it would be nice to input multiple, recurring dates and times once, rather than submitting 4 times for our weekly volunteers. Selecting multiple dates at once would be great!
