Customize schedule for event reminders
For automated notifications, it would be useful to customize when event reminders are sent to volunteers. We require 72 hours notice for cancellations so we would like to email them 4 days prior to the event instead of 2 days

Provide an API to enable integration with other time tracking systems and/or a bulk upload
Volunteers in our group are using a variety of other time tracking systems and currently have to manually load their hours into TrackItForward.
An API and/or bulk upload capability would make this easier and therefore encourage volunteers to keep their hours up to date in TrackItForward2 votes -
Auto-assignation of shifts based on preferences and availability of volunteers.
This would be a combination of two features: the ability for volunteers to set their availability and event preferences, and the ability of the website to assign volunteers by maximizing preferences, and minimizing time conflicts.

It would be nice if the app provided notification when events have been added to the calendar.

Create customized charts - based on needs of organization.
Create customized charts. During presentations, requesting grants and tracking how volunteer hours are spent - it is more eye catching to have pictiures along with words. Executives and persons who have stake in the organization would be more likely to see charts than read words.

Option for admins to receive a copy of emails sent
I'd like to receive a copy of emails that I send out through the Events and Volunteers section. This would make it easier to confirm delivery, keep accurate records, and re-use email content in the future.

Submitting hours for a volunteer
Currently, submitting hours for a volunteer must be done under the 'Overview' tab by selecting a volunteer from a drop down list.
It would be nice to be able to submit hours for a specific volunteer under their 'Timesheet' tab.

Year-round events
Would like to have a start date and end date for events. Some of our events are by trimester or year-round.

Total hours divided by trimester
Our families have to complete a total of 45 hours but we split those hours by trimester (15 hours x 3). Not sure how to configure?

Running List of Cancellations
I would like a running list of cancellations available just like the "rejections" tab.
I would to see if volunteers cancel often or if there is a particular event volunteers cancel for the most, etc.

Not allow signing OFF of an event!
Not allowing volunteers to sign off of an event LESS THAN 24 HOURS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. If a volunteer tries to sign off they should be instructed to find a replacement or to contact the event coordinators.

use pin codes for the kiosk
you just put in your pin number and it records you and the time you signed it and out. That would eliminate the need to search for your name or type it in.

Include write in option for "Other" with fields
Allow volunteers to write in more detail if they select "Other" from a checkbox/dropdown list.

Reports include date range when printed
Reports should include the date range when printed from "print last run report".

Create name "token" for personalized emails
It would be useful if you could add a token for "volunteer name" to the email templates so users could receive a personalized message from the system.

Ability to exclude blanks in filtered reports
Some of the new report templates categorize hours as "blank" when they don't match the criteria of the selected report. It would be helpful if we could unselect this since it's not necessary for us.

Showing messages on events as comments for everyone to see, like on signup genius
On signup genius, when a person signs up, they can make a comment that shows to everyone who has the link to the signup. It is nice for instances where they need to let everyone know the specifics of what they're bringing. It would be a great feature to have on track it forward. When people send messages, it goes just to the organizer, and sometimes it would be very helpful if everyone on the signup could see.

I would like you to change the event organizer options to allow 2 or more event organizer for one event.
There have been many times where I create a signup for our class at school (I'm the parent coordinator for the class), and I would like to have the teacher and I both be event organizers so we can both edit and see who has signed up and keep track of messages and such. It would be nice to have that feature.

Enable the option to set configurations for time served in a meeting under the Hour Log
Currently the option allows you to select only one time or duration option from a drop down menu at the top of the form, but that doesn't always work if a volunteer is entering multiple entries. For example, it would be great to be able to submit a list of donated items without needing a time entry, then submit the hours for a planning meeting, & also submit volunteer hours for a field trip. The second additional questions would be configured to appear after one of the ways to volunteer was selected (marked as a YES). It would look something…
