  1. Custom start AND end fields for milestones

    With regards to milestones it would be helpful for the “custom” setting to have a start AND end field

  2. In the volunteer report add a field that would provide a date of "Last RSVP"

    This feature would include in the volunteer report a record of the volunteers most recent RSVP to an event. This is important to me as a volunteer coordinator as we need to track who is active or not. We mark volunteers as inactive after 6 months of no activity.

  3. Provide an API to enable integration with other time tracking systems and/or a bulk upload

    Volunteers in our group are using a variety of other time tracking systems and currently have to manually load their hours into TrackItForward.
    An API and/or bulk upload capability would make this easier and therefore encourage volunteers to keep their hours up to date in TrackItForward

  4. Display volunteer names on Events page

    Displaying the volunteer names on the Events page would be a great usability improvement. Right now the only way I found to get an overview for, say, a whole month of volunteers is to use the Reports section of the Organizer Dashboard.

  5. Allow user to select multiple dates to input recurring hours in a single submission.

    We input our volunteer hours once a month and it would be nice to input multiple, recurring dates and times once, rather than submitting 4 times for our weekly volunteers. Selecting multiple dates at once would be great!

  6. Exact Totals for Each Milestone Category

    In the Track It Forward app, participants should be able to see their totals in each milestone category. Currently, it just shows the total until milestone is achieved. It would be great to see the actual number of hours in each milestone category above the required hours for milestone.

  7. We would like to keep a live running total of volunteer hours given, on our website.

    It would be great if we could show hours volunteered, just like we show website hits and other data. It would be a great tool for getting people excited about volunteering with our growing non profit.

  9. Milestones and independent approvers for sub-activities

    Adding this feature would make Track it Forward almost perfect. Allow milestone tracking and separate hour approvals for sub categories under a main activity. To be clear, it would be good to have the option of a main activity milestone. Example Campus Service may have a 25 hour milestone. But within that Activity there could be sub-categories that students need to track for awards. Example - 10 hours of TA work, approved by individual teachers, or 10 hours of volunteering with Athletics, approved by a different teacher etc...But all counting towards the large bucket of 25 hours for campus service.…

  10. Send email to select volunteers from event

    I'd like the option to customize which volunteers to email from an event/shift instead of emailing all registered volunteers

  11. Ability for "outside" organizers to verify attendance/approve

    We serve lots of "outside" community organizations. Would there be a way to allow those event organizers to approve/verify hours on-site, without giving them access to all information and permissions? Currently, we have to wait on sign-in sheets or other "verification" methods from individual organizations before we can approve submissions. And sometimes those don't come without prodding.

  12. Volunteer not Available

    Need a way to send a mass invite and have volunteers say they are not available for an event. This way I can see all Volunteers that have seen the event and responded. I currently do this by adding an unavailable shift, but this leads to messages and reminders to log hours. I would like a way for a Volunteer to decline an Event and be recorded.

  14. You should be able to clink on a link in an event description in the mobile app.

    You can't click on a link in the event description in the mobile app, I put a link in the event description so that volunteers could get additional information, but you can't click on it or copy it from the text. It's too long for people to type in.

  15. Ability for volunteers to see history of past monthly milestones achieved

    My volunteers have a repeating monthly goal of 1 hour per month every month. Currently when they look in the mobile app, they can only see whether or not they achieved their milestone for the current month, but they cannot look in the past to see the months prior. I would like volunteers to have the ability to see past months and whether or not they achieved their monthly goal for each month they have so far been a volunteer.

  16. more than one criteria for a milestone

    Our students have to earn 150 hours AND submit and a link to their electronic portfolio to earn a milestone. It would be great if they could do both from this application.

  17. Total hours divided by trimester

    Our families have to complete a total of 45 hours but we split those hours by trimester (15 hours x 3). Not sure how to configure?

  18. Auto-assignation of shifts based on preferences and availability of volunteers.

    This would be a combination of two features: the ability for volunteers to set their availability and event preferences, and the ability of the website to assign volunteers by maximizing preferences, and minimizing time conflicts.

  20. Create customized charts - based on needs of organization.

    Create customized charts. During presentations, requesting grants and tracking how volunteer hours are spent - it is more eye catching to have pictiures along with words. Executives and persons who have stake in the organization would be more likely to see charts than read words.
    I wanted a chart of time spent by volunteers per activity/per month
