  1. Volunteer export based on different criteria

    It would be great if each volunteer could export their hours based on different criteria. We would love for volunteers to generate their own reports based on activity, so that they can get their total hours for each kind of activity that we have.

  2. Auto-email when a new volunteer is denied/archived

    Should a volunteer be "denied" (due to a failed background check, or bad interview/reference check), can we have options other than "archive"?

    We need to be able to contact them to let them know they have been denied, and email would seem to be the most ideal way to do that. An auto-email/message if there were a "denied" button, rather than just "approve" or "archive", would be great here.

    At the least, if there were a "denied" button that sent the admin to the email screen to send the denial email AND THEN gave the admin the option to archive,…

  3. Volunteer Hour Trends Over Time

    I would like to be able to see total volunteer hour trends monthly over time (ie. year-to-year), both at the individual staff member level and as an aggregate - similar to the "Volunteer Hours" chart on the Organizer Dashboard, but with a customizable (and extendable) time period. Our organization compares (recruitment) hours to (child) enrollment monthly, and we really need a better and easier way to see correlations between the two, if any.

    Improved reporting capability - perhaps with graphs - would really be helpful.

  5. Dashboard for upates

    Some type of dashboard that pops up when a volunteer logs in that shows any news or updates before they proceed with checking in. With many on-going policy changes due to COVID-19, it would be nice to have a dashboard or updates/articles that can be posted. A "home" page.

  7. Exact Totals for Each Milestone Category

    In the Track It Forward app, participants should be able to see their totals in each milestone category. Currently, it just shows the total until milestone is achieved. It would be great to see the actual number of hours in each milestone category above the required hours for milestone.

  8. Provide an API to enable integration with other time tracking systems and/or a bulk upload

    Volunteers in our group are using a variety of other time tracking systems and currently have to manually load their hours into TrackItForward.
    An API and/or bulk upload capability would make this easier and therefore encourage volunteers to keep their hours up to date in TrackItForward

  9. Allow user to select multiple dates to input recurring hours in a single submission.

    We input our volunteer hours once a month and it would be nice to input multiple, recurring dates and times once, rather than submitting 4 times for our weekly volunteers. Selecting multiple dates at once would be great!

  11. In the volunteer report add a field that would provide a date of "Last RSVP"

    This feature would include in the volunteer report a record of the volunteers most recent RSVP to an event. This is important to me as a volunteer coordinator as we need to track who is active or not. We mark volunteers as inactive after 6 months of no activity.

  12. Total hours divided by trimester

    Our families have to complete a total of 45 hours but we split those hours by trimester (15 hours x 3). Not sure how to configure?

  14. Create customized charts - based on needs of organization.

    Create customized charts. During presentations, requesting grants and tracking how volunteer hours are spent - it is more eye catching to have pictiures along with words. Executives and persons who have stake in the organization would be more likely to see charts than read words.
    I wanted a chart of time spent by volunteers per activity/per month

  15. Auto-assignation of shifts based on preferences and availability of volunteers.

    This would be a combination of two features: the ability for volunteers to set their availability and event preferences, and the ability of the website to assign volunteers by maximizing preferences, and minimizing time conflicts.

  16. Milestones and independent approvers for sub-activities

    Adding this feature would make Track it Forward almost perfect. Allow milestone tracking and separate hour approvals for sub categories under a main activity. To be clear, it would be good to have the option of a main activity milestone. Example Campus Service may have a 25 hour milestone. But within that Activity there could be sub-categories that students need to track for awards. Example - 10 hours of TA work, approved by individual teachers, or 10 hours of volunteering with Athletics, approved by a different teacher etc...But all counting towards the large bucket of 25 hours for campus service.…

  17. Ability for "outside" organizers to verify attendance/approve

    We serve lots of "outside" community organizations. Would there be a way to allow those event organizers to approve/verify hours on-site, without giving them access to all information and permissions? Currently, we have to wait on sign-in sheets or other "verification" methods from individual organizations before we can approve submissions. And sometimes those don't come without prodding.

  18. All GPS submissions time stamped

    If there is one software request I would like to make, it is that the program would be set up so whenever a GPS pin is dropped the image is timestamped. As of now, only the preset verification GPS gets a timestamp. If I require my own, it doesn't get a timestamp.

    I use the program as a check in/check out system for our volunteers on a daily basis. Thus, I require them to drop a pin when they arrive, and then another one when they leave. I would like both to be timestamped.

  19. Enhance Restrict to Specific Volunteers to support checkbox field

    I would like the ability to Restrict to Specific Volunteers based on a profile field with a type of "checkbox". I've created a profile field "Groups" that is a checkbox. The current implementation only supports Dropdown fields which means I would have to create multiple profile fields in order to allow an individual to be in multiple "groups"

  20. Enhancements to Volunteer Filtering on List of Volunteers

    I have a checkbox profile filed named "Groups". I would like the ability on the "List of Volunteers" page under "Filters" to be able to select multiple groups to include. This would then allow me to do bulk actions against multiple groups of individuals instead of having to process each group individually for actions such as "Log Hours", "Send Message", and "Send Invite".

    This feature exists for generating Volunteer Report and would like to see it replicated for the bulk action capabilities.
