Have a color key on the events page
You have the ability to choose a color for different categories, it would be nice to have a key at the top of the events page so people know what color is for what category.

You should be able to clink on a link in an event description in the mobile app.
You can't click on a link in the event description in the mobile app, I put a link in the event description so that volunteers could get additional information, but you can't click on it or copy it from the text. It's too long for people to type in.

Bulk-edit events
It would be useful to be able to select multiple events off the calendar and edit properties of all the events. This could be for recurring events or events that span multiple days.

I would like you to change the event organizer options to allow 2 or more event organizer for one event.
There have been many times where I create a signup for our class at school (I'm the parent coordinator for the class), and I would like to have the teacher and I both be event organizers so we can both edit and see who has signed up and keep track of messages and such. It would be nice to have that feature.

Show total spots and RSVPs on calendar
It would be great if volunteers could see the total spots for an event on the calendar without clicking on a specific event. This view already exists for administrators.
7 votesThis has been updated so volunteers can see total spots from the calendar view. Thanks for voting!

It is hard to get people to sign the volunteer agreements that are required. If you could add the agreement and they click a box that they have read and understand the volunteer agreement. this could before an event sign up.

Event calendar view that shows all scheduled events/RSVPs for the day
It's very important for me to be able to look at the calendar every day and see exactly who is up for events on a given day. Have to click through the event page and hit the plus sign by the RSVP in the bottom right hand corner is not efficient and it's good to be able to view all of that volunteer rsvp information at the same time.

Bulk Duplicate Event w/volunteers signed up
I would like to be able to sign up a volunteer for a shift, and then bulk duplicate that event so the volunteer is assigned to all future events as well. Say I have a recurring event each day of the week, and Larry is going to be on every Tuesday event. I'd like to make one event and then duplicate so I don't have to sign Larry up for every individual event.
7 votesThis has been updated so organizations can choose to include existing RSVP’s when events are duplicated.

Filter Volunteers for Event Invites and Emails
I need an easier way to filter volunteers to invite them to Events and send emails. We are a school and I needed to build profile fields (teacher name, grade, student name, etc.) in order to be able to track volunteers and use these fields for emails and invitations to grade or teacher specific activities / events. The system does not allow an easy way to do this with profile fields we build. We actually need to use an excel spreadsheet to get the correct email addresses to invite to grade or teacher specific events. We want to be able…

Ability to edit/delete/change the categories under Event Sign-Ups
When creating new Event Sign-up opportunities, I've created a few categories already, but need a way to edit or delete these. Even just have an "edit" button for these would be helpful.

Assigning managed users (volunteers without emails) to events
Allow admins have the power to assign managed users (volunteers without emails) to events. Making it easier for Admins and Volunteers (with emails) to see if volunteers are needed for events.

Allow organizer to create event and add volunteers by clicking radio button or tick box next to list of volunteers.
This would allow an organizer to create adhoc events that were attended by members, to which the organizer has identified a need to track the hours in order to ensure volunteers are credited and recognized appropriately. While a organizer can do this now adding a volunteer at a time, it would be far more time efficient click wise to be able to identify multiple volunteers and then click submit.

Make event organizer public
Event Organizer information is hidden from volunteers unless the organizer puts that information in the Event description. If the organizer forgets, there is no way to know who to contact.

Ability go to next event from event page
From the event view page, have a button for next event or previous event. This would alleviate having to go back to the main calendar of events when you need to go through all events to see who or how many signed up for each event.

Categorize events and allow people different access
It would be nice to be able to have the option to make certain events available on the webpage (for the public and new one-time event volunteers to sign up for) and not have all events posted on the webpage that they would have access to sign up for that might not pertain to one-time volunteers.

Allow one volunteer to sign up multiple volunteers for an event
So a volunteer could sign up multiple members of his/her family or company to serve at an event.
2 votesA volunteer can sign up for multiple times for the same event, they just have to click the RSVP’ed button again after they’ve RSVPed.

Allow owner to run a report to see who signs up for shift and who eventually logs hours. To see who is missing shifts.
There are occasions where volunteers sign up and don't ultimately show up. I would like to be able to track who is not showing up to shifts so those volunteers that don't show up for multiple shifts can be removed from the system. When our volunteers sign up, they take away volunteer shifts from our other volunteers. We want to make sure that only volunteers that show up consistently are allowed to volunteer.
6 votesYou can turn on hour associations to events, then after the event is over, you can return to the event and click on verify to see who has logged hours and who is missing. Contact our support team if you need additional assistance with this.

Add "Event Time" as one of the fields to fill out when posting events
At the moment I'm putting the overall time of the event in the Title. It would be great if it had it's one field and was visible from the "list of events" page.
