In the Kiosk have an option to have a drop down to add total time verses a check in and out system. For example
We input our volunteer hours once a month and it would be nice to input multiple, recurring dates and times once, rather than submitting 4 times for our weekly volunteers. Selecting multiple dates at once would be great!2 votes
On the approval dashboard, it would be nice to be able to sort the list by volunteer date and then name. It's too easy for volunteers to double enter hours. Having a way to see when they've entered the same hours, on the same day, for the same project helps us take a closer look. (Other idea, if there was a way to warn volunteers that they already have an entry on that day, for the same hours, under the same area/project, we would like that.)1 vote
Volunteers in our group are using a variety of other time tracking systems and currently have to manually load their hours into TrackItForward.
An API and/or bulk upload capability would make this easier and therefore encourage volunteers to keep their hours up to date in TrackItForward2 votes
I would like a running list of cancellations available just like the "rejections" tab.
I would to see if volunteers cancel often or if there is a particular event volunteers cancel for the most, etc.2 votes
Currently, submitting hours for a volunteer must be done under the 'Overview' tab by selecting a volunteer from a drop down list.
It would be nice to be able to submit hours for a specific volunteer under their 'Timesheet' tab.6 votes
you just put in your pin number and it records you and the time you signed it and out. That would eliminate the need to search for your name or type it in.3 votes

While the reporting and export capabilities in TIF are fairly robust, it would be more convenient to exchange data with some web-based apps directly in real-time. APIs are more prevalent, and in a lot of cases, expected in web apps. Are there any plans for adding an API at some point in the future?9 votes
Currently the option allows you to select only one time or duration option from a drop down menu at the top of the form, but that doesn't always work if a volunteer is entering multiple entries. For example, it would be great to be able to submit a list of donated items without needing a time entry, then submit the hours for a planning meeting, & also submit volunteer hours for a field trip. The second additional questions would be configured to appear after one of the ways to volunteer was selected (marked as a YES). It would look something like this:
Administrative Meeting: (they mark YES)
Then two new boxes pop up:
One that asks what kind of meeting: (they select one ie: Health)
Another that asks How long was your meeting: (ie: 2hrs)
Did you make a donation?: (they mark yes)
Then several other boxes pop up, such as:
List your donation items: (they enter everything in)
What was the total/est. cost of the items donated?: (ie: $50)
Please attach a pic of your receipts: (they upload pic)
Did you volunteer as a chaperone?: (they mark YES)
Then more fields appear, such as:
Teacher's Name: (they select from a list: Mr. Bell)
Time In: (ie: 10am)
Time Out: (ie: 3pm)

I would like to use the Rejected Hours list to send out a reminder email to volunteers who haven't fixed their entry. It would be ideal if I could search by date, active status, etc. to limit my email to relevant volunteers.0 votes
I'd like the ability to export hours that are currently pending approval so I can review them in a spreadsheet and then do a bulk approval. Sorting them in a spreadsheet would make it easier to compare entries made by the same person and/or entries made for the same events to ensure consistency. The existing filters help some, but it would save time if I could just sort it by my own criteria.0 votes
