We would like to keep a live running total of volunteer hours given, on our website.
It would be great if we could show hours volunteered, just like we show website hits and other data. It would be a great tool for getting people excited about volunteering with our growing non profit.

Making Names Clickable in hour review
When I am reviewing hours, I would like to be able to just click on the volunteer's name at the top of the review page and be taken to their profile of hours so that I can see if they are submitting hours that are repeats/similar to what they have done before. Right now, I have to go to volunteers and find them and then go to their profile to see their other hours logged. Then I can review their recent submission, but I have to go back out to approvals to go to the next kid.

Filter Hours on the Organizer Dashboard to only see unapproved hours. Organizer doesn't need to see all approved hours.
I'm proposing a filter option to view unapproved, pending and rejected hours. I don't need to see approved submitted hours and there is no indication of the status of these hours in the Organizer Dashboard, only that they were submitted.
1 voteAll pending hours will be listed under the Approvals page. On that page, there will also be a Rejections tab to view a list of rejected hours.

Export pending hours from approval queue
I'd like the ability to export hours that are currently pending approval so I can review them in a spreadsheet and then do a bulk approval. Sorting them in a spreadsheet would make it easier to compare entries made by the same person and/or entries made for the same events to ensure consistency. The existing filters help some, but it would save time if I could just sort it by my own criteria.

Remove rejected hours from timesheet total
Right now, the total hours on a volunteer's timesheet includes rejected hours. It would be helpful to differentiate between total hours submitted vs. total hours approved.

Include pending hours in milestone view
It would be helpful to include a reference to pending hours in the milestone progress so they can understand how many hours they will have after approval

our organization wants to assign points (not hours) to volunteer positions because not all jobs are based on time

Allow multiple hour submissions per form
There should be multiple hour slots, so my volunteers can submit hours for teaching, prep time, and travel time all on one form and then click submit.

Conditional hour log fields
Be able to create more than one customized volunteer log form as you might want to collect different information for each activity. Would also like condition logic on form fields (i.e. certain questions only show when a previous question is answered a certain way).

Log time as hours and/or minutes
This way volunteers don't have to work out how much of an hour (0.2) or whatever they have done.

To have an option for logging hours where the volunteer can type in a start time and end time

Bulk log hours by activity
It would be ideal if you could filter by activity and simply click on volunteers to add them to the activity. The import step is pretty manual in excel - it would be easier if we could edit mass entries that may need fixing permanently.

Bulk select multiple people to log hours for
add many people to a single activity entry... ie create duration / date / activity then add multiple people like attendees at a meeting

So this is possible already. A volunteer can look at all their hours if they go to their Account Dashboard and then export all their hours from there. However, they can’t see those hours form their timesheet.

Double verification for organizer emails
I appreciate that the info now is emailed to the supervisor for approval and it's my understanding that if they agree with the information they have received they can just do nothing and it's considered approved. I just wish there were some way to know for sure that they had received the email and indeed have approved it. Like if they could do something simple like click a link in the email and it would register as approved. I'm pretty sure that they can leave a little comment if desired, too, right?
