Total Hours on Volunteer page
Is there a way for volunteers to have a total hours on their personal page?

Make places to add tasks that aren't listed
1 voteIn the settings of the organizer dashboard, you can allow volunteers to add activtiies that aren’t listed.

Allow Managers to change the label "hours" to something else.
Some organizations don't use the term "hours" so this would allow that label to be changed to anything else.

More Columns
To use it, I need more columns available for free input so I can collect phone numbers and other information.

hours in the last semester
I like the User Dashboard interface, the hour log and graphs are excellent and very visible. As the manager however I would like to be able to customise the time period visible to the users. I would prefer to change 'Your volunteer hours in the last year' to 'Your volunteer hours this semester' or 'this month', 'this term', 'this season'.

You can actually set a custom “start date” which you can adjust to start at the beginning of the semester. Does that meet your needs or are you looking for something else?

Remove Recent Activity

Have the Head of the Committee approve the hours you log in.
When you post your hours, you can have the Head of the Committee you're working on approve the hours you log in for verification.
1 voteThis is already possible with out hour log approval process. Any one who is a “coordinator” will receive an email when a new hour comes in that needs to be approved.

Bulk Hours approval tool
Allow me to select multiple entries on the Hours approval page so I can do a bulk approval of hours rather than clicking on every hour link to approve.

Pie Chart depicting percent involvement
Our school has a minimum of 12 hours volunteered each year. I would like everyone to see how we are progressing towards 100% of our families giving at least that number of hours. It would be great to have this as a custom pie chart on everyone's hour entry page. Also, I would like to be able to embed this in our school website and to transfer it to our newsletter to keep families encouraged to volunteer and complete all their hours.

In-Kind Donations and Mileage
I would like to be able to track in-kind donations of goods or services provided by other organizations to my non-profit. These would be items that have a cash value that may not be translated into hours. It would also be nice to be able to have volunteers track mileage.

not all volunteer activities fit into the pre-selected categories. It would be helpful to have an open choice, such as "other" or "miscellaneous" with the details to follow in the description box.

Managed volunteers (aka volunteers without emails) now have all profile fields normal volunteers have.

Map to show where volunteers volunteered
We have a large area for the project and volunteers will be volunteering in a variety of locations, a map where we can pinpoint areas the volunteers have covered would be really useful. Also the map on our front page would probably be more useful is we could outling the project area rather than pinpoint a particular site.
4 votesThis is now available if you enable the advanced verification features. Turn on the GPS coordinates to allow volunteers to drop a pin, and you can see that on a map on your organizer dashboard.

Customized milestone time periods
If you want to track volunteers who have put in a certain amount of time in your own customized periods, vote here. This would be very useful for schools that need to track and reward parent volunteer time based on semesters, trimesters, or school years.

Deny hours but they don't get deleted.
It would be nice to be able to deny hours instead of deleting them because our organization has criteria that hour submissions must follow. It would be much easier instead of deleting the hours and then the volunteers have to resubmit them. Also high school students don't check their emails so it would be easier for them to see that their hours got denied. It would also show that we have look at that submission and that we can't approve it yet. Once changes are made then the submission would go back to pending approval. In addition to the denying…
40 votesWhen hours are now denied, a log is created with the message sent over to them. The hour is not deleted but instead put in to the “Rejected” state which a volunteer can and resubmit and read the history of rejections messages.

Add volunteer email address to report exports
This wold allow people to export the volunteers list (based on activity or date) and get the email addresses.

Allow organizers to export a list of active volunteers and email addresses
This would make it easier to send emails, invite people for events, etc. while this can be filtered from a report through excel, it would still be nice to get a report.
