Event Sign-Up Export should include ALL data (open shifts, notes to organizer, etc)
Currently event sign-up does not include all data. It should include all data (open shifts that no one volunteered for, notes to organizer, etc). And the data should appear whether you're exporting from the event calendar view page, or in each even separately.

Bulk log hours by activity
It would be ideal if you could filter by activity and simply click on volunteers to add them to the activity. The import step is pretty manual in excel - it would be easier if we could edit mass entries that may need fixing permanently.

it would be helpful if we could have different volunteer requirements for different people
families at the school are required to volunteer 50 hours. however, two household families can divide among the two parents, 25 each, or a single parent only has to volunteer 25 hours. i created 'multiple milestones' for these and thought i was good. but as far as the charts are concerned it requires all three of those 'requirements' for each volunteer. not quite getting at what i want. i want to know who met 'their' requirement, just one requirement, but different for different volunteers.
1 voteWe would recommend for this situation to instead allow a “grouping” field which would bind 2 household families together and then would share that 50 hour bucket. choose color on Event signups
To be able to choose a different colors for different events on the signup calendar.
One color for ongoing events..... a different color for one time only activities.
1 voteWe put in some basic categorization of events, they aren’t colors but it is a text differentiation. If you go to create an event (or edit an existing event), you can now add a category. When viewing the event calendar, an option will appear that says “filter by category” where you can toggle different events by type.

It's difficult to see the data across the when trying to determine a volunteer's particular hours with all the other data (address, etc.) included

I need help!
why can I NOT approve someone trying to sign up for my site? It only gives me the option to approve and I do not know who this person is. This has happened a handful of times already. In the past I approve then go and delete the user. Now I can only achieve them. I need to be able to "not approve" them in the requesting stage.

Ability to email volunteers newsletters or lists of upcoming volunteer opportunities
I would love to have the ability of emailing volunteers of multiple opportunities at once, perhaps weekly or even monthly as a newsletter. As of now I have to use an outside bulk email provider and add links for each opportunity we have.

drop down menu
Can we have editable drop down fields added to a field? i.e. Our field is "What did you do?" and I'd like to add drop down choices to pick from. If this already exists, please let me know and how I can access this feature.

Export Milestones Report
I would like to be able to run and export a report that shows the TOTAL hours per volunteer for a year rather than a report that lists them separately. This could also work if I could Export the Milestones report.

The calendar on the App
Have the calendar as an option on the app. That way volunteers can sign-up to volunteer on the app (even for past events).

Can we add a field for the date the vol date that the vol became a member of an org.
It would help us keep track of the length of time a vol has been associated with the org.

Allowing Field Approvers to create event sign up
Managers see too much information. We are a school and the field approvers can see the students participating with their activities online. The field approvers should also be able to create events as well, not only managers. Our volunteers are students so we can't allow all volunteers to create events.
4 votesWhen you go to settings >> more settings >> event sign ups >> there’s a question for who can create events >> managers only also includes field approvers. If you have that selected, they can also create events.

Monthly Event Page
It would be nice to see the event page in a monthly view. That way you can see all the events for the month, both previous and upcoming. This will help with having to scroll all the way down to the end of the page just to review past events. Another option would be to have the "view past event" option at the top of the page.

Help Text
It would be great to have the ability to enter help text or upload documentation in the system to explain some of fields, etc. for users who may be unclear about what something means. This functionality may exist and I just not be aware of it.

Expand All option on report summary
On the Hour Submissions tab of the Report Summary (on the Organizer Dashboard) it would be helpful to have the EXPAND ALL option for these submissions. It already exists on the Approve Hours tab of the Report Summary and it would be nice to have it on the other tabs as well.

If you go to Organizer Dashboard >> Settings >> More Settings >> Other Configuration, you can set a start date to reset the hours back to 0

Please let me list volunteers with their last name
It is easier to have the volunteer list show the first and last name so that I can alphabetize by last name.
1 voteHi Yuni, you can reorder the profile fields so the last name is first and then everything will be sorted by their last name.

Categorize/label volunteers for quick searches
I would love to be able to "label" each volunteer based on their preferences/interests then run a search for volunteers based on their label. For example, I would love to type "Special Events" into a search field and have all the volunteers I previously labeled as "Special Events" volunteers pop up in one list.

Ability to select shown fields in "Group by" filter
When running a report group by volunteer, report output adds additional fields not requested. Should allowed flexibility to remove those fields if not it overflows off the page.
