Setting your Events page to show Available events only
Instead of just filtering events have the option to only show available events as the default setting site wide.

An ability to field approves to only receive approval emails for the field that they are responsible for managing
Our field approves stated they were getting approval emails for the entire team versus the team members that they worked with therefore creating to many emails for them to review.

We actually have a solution for this already. You’ll just need to reset your site’s time frame. When you do this, all the charts, graphs, and data will reset to 0, but you can still access them in reports and in the volunteer’s profile. mandatory profile fields
Ability for admins to make custom fields mandatory on the "Profile Fields" used as an application.
It would be very useful if we had the ability to select which fields are mandatory for a new volunteer to create a profile with TIF. Due to our need to identify community/corportate volunteer relationships for grants, we really need for our custom question about their involvement with other groups to be a mandatory answer. The same for our release of liability custom question checkbox.

Additional volunteer filter settings
I want to email all of my volunteers (students) EXCEPTING one group (teachers.) I tried filtering out the teachers, but I can't. I can filter to get the list of teachers only, but not the whole list MINUS the teachers.
If I could select all the groups I want to include (maybe there could be a list of groups with check-boxes and you check the ones you want to include?) and leave one group out, that would also help a TON.
In the meantime, I figured I'd just Select All on the volunteers page and go through and unselect each…

Comma after last name
When viewing volunteers that are set/sorted last name, first. Could you put a comma that would show/differentiate that it is set as last name, first?

a report that can show hours....money contributed....dollars brought in to organization
would like to have a few more canned reports.....that should hours. show money contributed....and money volunteer brought in.
1 voteWe already have this, as long as you have a field in the hour log for tracking money, it’ll appear in your reports.

Customize "from" email
Make the bulk email send feature more user friendly. Allow the admin to put in a custom email like their work email as the "from" email but send it using the Track it Forward system instead of showing up as coming from the Track it Forward system. It actually doesn't seem to be working at all at the moment. I can't customize the message I want to send out and it doesn't even seem to be sending an email even though it says it is.
3 votesTo send on the behalf of someone else would actually get the emails filtered into SPAM fairly quickly. But to get this to work, you’d have to adjust the DNS of your domain, which can be very technically challenging. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to accommodate this feature at this time.
If you notice emails are not being sent out on your behalf, please message support@trackitforward.com and we will look into the issue of deliverability.

In-app Account Creation for new users
Just now as I opened the app for the first time, I saw that there is only a sign-in screen, and the statement:
"This is a companion app to Track it Forward
You must have an account to continue"As a first time user (as I imagine most of my volunteers will be), I would love to be able to just click a link somewhere on that screen that allows me to create an account. (There is currently nothing on that screen except the sign in field for folks who already have an account.)

1 voteTotally get it and that’s a great idea. Unfortunately the app store prevents us from opening an external browser to allow volunteers to register on their specific site.

Option for bilingual/multi language form
Many of the people logging hours only use Spanish. It would be great to have the option for them to choose either an English form to fill out or a Spanish form. Right now there is only one option. The kiosk form would be nice to have as English or Spanish either! This would include our primary Spanish speakers.

Automatic time tracking based on gps
Automatic Ourvolts Time tracking. Basically - if their phone is within a set of geo-fenced coordinates, the "on-site and volunteering clock" starts running and stops when they leave.

Consistent Font on Hour Log Form and Hour Log Kiosk
Currently, the Hour Log Form and the Hour Log Kiosk lookvery different in terms of style Is there any why to get the Kiosk to have the same style as the Form? This would be a lot more consistent with our website, and I believe a lot of other websites too!

Report by volunteer by activity
A summary report that would show the individual volunteer's hours by activity to identify their strengths and interests.
1 voteYou can create a variety of reports that include volunteers and activities. In the Reports section you can choose to “show advanced search settings” (below update report) and use the “Grouping by” filter and select “Volunteers & Activity”. This method will include most of the other information, but you will at least be able to see the info you need. You can also filter by solo volunteers or by single activities.

Ability to edit the volunteer hour report form
Our company requires that our volunteer reports have a specific criteria. The form is plain and when exported, the quality is not well.
4 votesIn the Reports section there is a feature that says “Show advanced search settings” that will allow you to check off certain boxes that will include specific information or volunteers so you can print or export a specific report. It is not completely comprehensive, but it does give you the ability to create reports for a specific criteria.

Should be able to upload the company logo to the page

1 voteYou can add a logo by going to the Organizer Dashboard >> Settings >>Other Settings >> Site Info and there is a spot to upload your logo from your drive.

Make element names match everywhere
The names of fields don't match making instructions and continuity challenging. Example Category is also organization, but in reports is called "Activity"
3 votesThis is a customization on your end. Site admins select if they want to categorize by activities or by organizations, or no categories at all. Then in the advanced settings, admins can rename the “activity” title to something more site specific. Therefore, it makes it difficult for us to use one name throughout since everyone has something different on their site. Hope that makes sense!

Custom award tracking time frame
I am with a Rotary club, and all Rotary clubs have a Rotary year that runs from July 1 - June 30. It would be so much easier to track our award achievements if we could set this as the "year" in our settings.

In case you didn’t know, you are able to do this already. To set up the time frame, go to settings >> milestones >> “custom” time >> every (1) (year) starting on (july 1).
