The capability to create a widget for my organizations website
I want my volunteers to be able to log their hours right on our own website. You could have a widget builder that uses HTML code to embed the widget on any of our own personal organizations websites.

Ability to produce a report of total hours by category per volunteer
Need to be able to produce a report with Volunteer name, email and total hours per category that does not show each detailed entry.

I want to approve every hour that my volunteer submits because I need to keep them accountable
Right now I only receive an email when volunteers volunteer, but I want to go in an literally approve all of them
13 votesToday we just allowed all basic plan owners to approve hours individually as they come in. Site coordinators receive an email and can easily go through them and click “Approved” for ones they approve.

It is hard to get people to sign the volunteer agreements that are required. If you could add the agreement and they click a box that they have read and understand the volunteer agreement. this could before an event sign up.

Customized Event Registration and Reminder Emails
Hi. It would be incredibly helpful to be able to create custom messages for registration and reminder emails. The feature already exists for cancellation instructions.
If at all possible, I'd like the messages to carry over with duplicated events. It will save me so much time.

I would like to be able to send messages to all or select volunteers. Currently you can only send invitations or messages to attendees of specific events.

We need to be able to have many different coordinators approve hours for many different volunteers

Is there a way to send an auto-email/message when a volunteer is "approved" by our admin?
Something like, "Thank you for applying with [organization name]. Welcome to our Team! You may now access our full volunteer portal system, and we look forward to seeing you at our next volunteer orientation...."

Assigning different Activities or Volunteers a specific number of hours (rather than the same requirement for every volunteer).
We operate a student housing organization that requires each house to volunteer a certain number of service hours, based on the size of their group. It would be useful if we could customize the number of hours required by individual (Volunteer) or by House (Activity), rather than assigning the same requirement to everyone.

I would like you to change the event organizer options to allow 2 or more event organizer for one event.
There have been many times where I create a signup for our class at school (I'm the parent coordinator for the class), and I would like to have the teacher and I both be event organizers so we can both edit and see who has signed up and keep track of messages and such. It would be nice to have that feature.

display vol hour total per school, per school year
parents might need/want to know how they are doing towards required hours for the school year so provide a way to show hour total per school and per school year (not calendar year)

Record hours seperately by category
Not sure if already possible but I need to be able to have record of volunteers hours by category and be able to count some categories together and also total hours because not all categories count towards rewards.

email notification to volunteers once their hours were approved
Hi,
Currently when approving hours, we can only Approve hours or "Decline & Send".
It would be great to be able to notify volunteers via email when their hours were approved - for example by adding "Approve & Send" button.Thank you!

Require student information such as name, homeroom and grade on parent page.
To accurately track parent activity we need to know the name of the student(s), homeroom, and grade with whom the hrs relate to. Also in some cases more volunteer hours are required for multiple enrolled students. i.e. 1 student 20 hrs, 2 or more 30 hours.
9 votesThis was just completed last week and you can actually create an innumerable amount of fields as a basic site owner and require that the volunteers fill them out before tracking hours.

Allow people to sign up for multiple items
When doing a sign-up sheet, allow volunteers to sign up for multiples. For instance, planning a gathering, we have set-up and clean-up spots, so only one quantity needed there. However, when signing up for food or drinks, someone might like to sign up for two items. I.e. 2 bottles of wine.

Style the Embeddable Form
It would be really nice to have access to the CSS to style the embeddable form. On my site, the form font doesn't match the look feel and there is a lot of space after the form, the link color gets lost in my site background color, etc.

Repeating, Cusom Milestone Periods
Allow volunteer administrators to set up a custom, repeating period for tracking volunteer milestones. For example, set up weekly, semester, or fortnightly milestone tracking.
Volunteers who completed these milestones would be displayed on the milestones box on your dashboard, so that you could reward them.

Make reporting easier, more robust, and printable
I appreciate being able to export all our data, but I'd prefer to sort and manipulate the data on OurVolts so I don't have to do it in a spreadsheet
