Conditional hour log fields
Be able to create more than one customized volunteer log form as you might want to collect different information for each activity. Would also like condition logic on form fields (i.e. certain questions only show when a previous question is answered a certain way).
3 votesThe conditional hour log fields is now complete.

The calendar on the App
Have the calendar as an option on the app. That way volunteers can sign-up to volunteer on the app (even for past events).

Event Sign-Up Export should include ALL data (open shifts, notes to organizer, etc)
Currently event sign-up does not include all data. It should include all data (open shifts that no one volunteered for, notes to organizer, etc). And the data should appear whether you're exporting from the event calendar view page, or in each even separately.

Enable Shift Start & End Times to Include Quarter Hours, Not Just Top of Hour and Half Hour
It would be very helpful when setting up shifts in an event to be able to have start and end times include quarter hours, not just top of hour or half hour. I've had a handful events where I the shift was to start at 8:45am or end at 10:45pm, but the only options available to me are either 8:30am/9:00am or 10:30pm/11:00pm.
Does anyone else think this would be useful or helpful?
3 votesHello and thank you for sharing.
GREAT NEWS! This already exists and I can show you how to do it. When you go to edit an event, in the shift start and end time text box, instead of selecting a dropdown option, input your time (ex: 7:15AM) then press TAB on your keyboard. It should keep that time for you.
Note: If you hit ENTER, the time inserted will change to a dropdown option, so make sure you hit TAB or any other key.
If you’re still having issues, please email our support team for more help!
Thanks.

Create volunteer interest categories
There should be a way to allow volunteers to say choose what type of volunteering opportunities they would like to know about. DO they want to volunteer in the classroom, at special events, or only for evening hours.
This would allow you to email just one group of volunteers instead of everyone.
3 votesIn case you didn’t know, you can already do this. You will need to create a new volunteer profile field for interests that volunteers can fill out when registering on the site. Contact our support team if you need assistance.

Allow organizer to create event and add volunteers by clicking radio button or tick box next to list of volunteers.
This would allow an organizer to create adhoc events that were attended by members, to which the organizer has identified a need to track the hours in order to ensure volunteers are credited and recognized appropriately. While a organizer can do this now adding a volunteer at a time, it would be far more time efficient click wise to be able to identify multiple volunteers and then click submit.

Small changes to organizer verification email
We have some concerns about the verification email that gets sent to the organizer after a volunteer submits hours. Is it possible to change this email to more clearly indicate that no action is needed from the organizer unless there is an issue with the hours? We are afraid some organizers may think they have to click on the “Report” button just to verify the student’s hours. We are aware that the email text says that no action is needed if everything is fine, but some organizers might gloss over that and just see the big green “Report” button. We…
3 votesWe changed the email so that the report button is less obvious. Hopefully this helps!

Assigning managed users (volunteers without emails) to events
Allow admins have the power to assign managed users (volunteers without emails) to events. Making it easier for Admins and Volunteers (with emails) to see if volunteers are needed for events.

Include pending hours in milestone view
It would be helpful to include a reference to pending hours in the milestone progress so they can understand how many hours they will have after approval

Digital sign in sheet setting for time
Create a setting so I can choose if I want the digital sign in sheet to default to the start/end time from the calendar or default to the actual clock time when they sign in

submit a CSV file of entries to add entries, I have many entries to make and the web interface takes forever to do 40-50 entries.
enable the bulk entry of volunteer ours by providing a CSV file with the appropriate fields.
I do many hours a week that need to be tracked and it would be easy to put them in a spreadsheet (to verify etc) then submit a CSV Version to.

Make it clearer that only the coordinator will receive an email "approval" emails for pending users
Right now, its not clear who receives that email. I thought as the owner I would receive it but I did not.

Create error messages for mass user import
The following adjustment should be made:
- Do not allow any user without email to be entered
- Make sure each email is unique
- Adjust the "count" imported so it is accurate to the actual amount that got entered

Change the font color options.
When printing out volunteer lists, the font is pale grey and hard to read. Would like a color that shows up as black in a black and white printing.

Pie Chart depicting percent involvement
Our school has a minimum of 12 hours volunteered each year. I would like everyone to see how we are progressing towards 100% of our families giving at least that number of hours. It would be great to have this as a custom pie chart on everyone's hour entry page. Also, I would like to be able to embed this in our school website and to transfer it to our newsletter to keep families encouraged to volunteer and complete all their hours.

Bulk Hours approval tool
Allow me to select multiple entries on the Hours approval page so I can do a bulk approval of hours rather than clicking on every hour link to approve.

Set a hours collection period
We track parent volunteer hours per academic year (they have a minimum to fulfill) but this doesn't map to a calendar year. It would be nice to be able to say the collection period is 26 August - 17 June.
2 votesYou can actually set the period for hour collection for the school year. You can how to do this in this article: https://www.trackitforward.com/content/custom-milestone-periods-and-assigning-specific-volunteers-specific-milestones

Electronic signatures
Many community service projects have a lead person to sign off on the completion of the activity. As we post the activities, could we include an email address for verification of participation and an electronic signature?

Organizer dashboard/capabilities on the app
It would be great to have access to the coordinator view via the app. This would allow me to easily approve hours, create events, or modify information while out and about, without having to go through the website.
