  2. Allow field approvers to log hours for their users

    Ability to designate Field Approvers, but with the additional capability of logging hours for their volunteers without giving full access to the volunteer list

  4. Expand Exporting to Calendar Integration Without Need for File Export/Import

    Today, the only way to keep our organization's website calendar (Google-based) synchronized with Track It Forward is to
    1. Export the events (1 month at a time)
    2. Save the file as an Excel file
    3. Delete all columns except Description, Date, Start Time, and End Time
    4. Delete Duplicate rows
    5. Rename columns to be compatible with fields required by Google Calendar
    6. Add End Date column
    7. Change Start and End Time values to have a space (e.g., 8:00pm --> 8:00 pm) and change format of column to Date type
    8. Save file
    9. Export into Google calendar

  5. Prevent Overlapping Events in the Calendar

    We have a problem where committee chairs are beginning to create overlapping events without first checking the calendar. Can a feature be added to prevent overlapping events?

  6. Milestones and independent approvers for sub-activities

    Adding this feature would make Track it Forward almost perfect. Allow milestone tracking and separate hour approvals for sub categories under a main activity. To be clear, it would be good to have the option of a main activity milestone. Example Campus Service may have a 25 hour milestone. But within that Activity there could be sub-categories that students need to track for awards. Example - 10 hours of TA work, approved by individual teachers, or 10 hours of volunteering with Athletics, approved by a different teacher etc...But all counting towards the large bucket of 25 hours for campus service.…

  7. HTML capabilities in event descriptions

    Would be great to highlight certain information within the event description via HTML formatting (eg: bold, underline, bullet points etc)

  8. Military time for log

    I would be really helpful if we could log hours in military time instead of am/pm.

  9. Volunteer export based on different criteria

    It would be great if each volunteer could export their hours based on different criteria. We would love for volunteers to generate their own reports based on activity, so that they can get their total hours for each kind of activity that we have.

  10. Disable volunteer hours after a certain date

    Can there be an option for disabling volunteers to log hours after a certain date. Example: Disable logging hours for dates 7 days prior to current date.

  11. Event wait list feature

    Incorporate a way for volunteers to sign up to a wait list if a particular shift or event is full. This would help reduce the effect of late cancellations. Currently achieving this by adding an additional shift labelled 'WAIT LIST' but a set feature could be useful.

  12. Notifications on reported hours after approval

    We’ve noticed that there is no way for an approver to know if an organizer reported an issue after the hours are already approved. Is there some way that approvers can be notified when an organizer reports an issue? It is clear before the approval because of the little red icon that shows, but after approval the only way is to go and find that volunteer log and see the issues reported on it. And an approver would never do that, because they are not notified of any reports.

  13. Customizable event registration

    I would like to be able to customize event registration. I would like to be able to add fields such as t-shirt size, location preference for volunteering, number of people attending (if a group), etc.

    This advanced registration option would allow you to gather information about your volunteer that is specific to your organization!

  14. Auto-email when a new volunteer is denied/archived

    Should a volunteer be "denied" (due to a failed background check, or bad interview/reference check), can we have options other than "archive"?

    We need to be able to contact them to let them know they have been denied, and email would seem to be the most ideal way to do that. An auto-email/message if there were a "denied" button, rather than just "approve" or "archive", would be great here.

    At the least, if there were a "denied" button that sent the admin to the email screen to send the denial email AND THEN gave the admin the option to archive,…

  15. Report by Event name

    I'd like to run a report by the event name. We have recurring events and I'd like to send an email out to all volunteers who have volunteered for that event regardless of the date. This would allow me to promote the series of the event to those who already have experience. Currently I have to open each event throughout the year and down load the volunteers then filter out duplicates, blah blah blah.

  16. Volunteer Hour Trends Over Time

    I would like to be able to see total volunteer hour trends monthly over time (ie. year-to-year), both at the individual staff member level and as an aggregate - similar to the "Volunteer Hours" chart on the Organizer Dashboard, but with a customizable (and extendable) time period. Our organization compares (recruitment) hours to (child) enrollment monthly, and we really need a better and easier way to see correlations between the two, if any.

    Improved reporting capability - perhaps with graphs - would really be helpful.

  17. Total Hours (Current Year) Widget

    In addition to the current set of hours cumulation widgets, it would be great if there were one for "current year" totals.

  18. Field supervisors view assigned volunteers

    It would be nice if Field supervisors could easily view and/or print the names and hour totals of their volunteers. At the moment, when they click the volunteer tab, they see everyone.

  20. Add event name column on verification dashboard

    Have events name show up as another column, because right now when you verify hours there is no activity associated to an event. Therefore we have to write the event name on the note in order to be able to tell what the hours belong to.
    It will be great if there was an activity column and an event column, so Events can have their names posted.
